Daniel Vives Menor
Archaeologist
Daniel Vives Menor holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the Universitat de València (UV), a Master of Arts in Cultural Heritage (Preventive Conservation of Cultural Heritage) from the same university, a Master of Arts in Egyptology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), and a Certificate in Virtualization of the Cultural Heritage from the Universitat d’Alacant (UA).
He has wide experience in field archaeology in Spain. He has worked in sites such as L’Hort de Pepica (Catarroja), Segóbriga (Saelices), La Maja (Pradejón-Calahorra), Partida de Mura (Lliria) and the Parochial Church of Gestalgar, among others. He also has extensive experience in archaeological laboratory work and in the use of digital techniques applied to archaeology.
Since 2004 he is the co-Director of the archaeological project Hábitat rural íbero-romano de Torralba (Bugarra), of which he is preparing the scientific publication and the museumization of the materials found.
He is currently a PhD student in Egyptology at the UAB.
