Patricia, born in Barcelona in 1983, is an archaeological photographer working in Egypt since 2006 for national and international archaeological projects in Cairo, Deir el-Barsha, Qaw el-Kebir, Luxor and Aswan.
With a background in Egyptology (MA by the University of Liverpool), and studies on professional lighting by Aula de Especialización Fotográfica (Barcelona) and a postgraduate degree on scientific photography by the Universidad de Alcalá (UAH), she specialized in scientific photography of objects and structures found by archaeologists, and environmental portraits of the scientists and local experts working in the archaeological sites.
She is silver and bronze winner of prestigious international photography contests such as Budapest International Foto Awards (BIFA), Tokyo International Foto Awards (TIFA) and Prix de la Photography Paris (Px3), and has exhibited in Jaén and Alcalá the Henares with the topics of the results of the Spanish archaeological teams Middle Kingdom Theban Projects (MKTP) and Proyecto Qubbet el-Hawa.
